These Are the 9 Best Tips We Got on Medium Marketing: 3 Worked, 6 Didn’t

Sehr ausführlicher Artikel, der zahlreiche gute Tipps gibt.

A Simple but Powerful CRM with Gmail, Google Sheets and Apps Script
Here’s a simple CRM tool built around Google Sheets that I use to help me keep up with people in my life. It allows me to:

  • Keep track of how long it’s been since I’ve emailed my important people

  • Determine if I ever replied to their latest emails

  • Show me if the latest email thread was starred (I usually use this to keep track of threads where there is unfinished business)

The One Thing Everyone Gets Wrong About CRM
It really doesn’t matter if you use a spreadsheet, a Rolodex, or a complex CRM; without the right strategy, you won’t make it far. It’s the development of this overall strategy that most people miss.
Build a Personal CRM Routine

  • [...] Spend at least 15 minutes a day reviewing and updating the status of current leads.

  • Take a few hours a week nurturing relationships, sharing articles, sending emails and doing follow-up.

  • Once a week, do a full review to make sure people are in the right stages, new contacts are properly categorized, and your tasks are getting done.

There is no productivity
Productivity isn’t about how busy you are, how many emails you answer. Your accomplishments are what you’re left with at the end of the day. [...] There is no productivity; there are only proofs of productivity.

20 Rules for a Knight: A Timeless Guide from 1483
In 1483, Sir Thomas Lemuel Hawke of Cornwall was among 323 killed at the Battle of Slaughter Bridge. Foreseeing this outcome, Sir Thomas wrote a letter to his children in Cornish outlining the Rules for a Knight — the life lessons Sir Thomas wished to pass along to his four children.

1. Solitude

Create time alone with yourself. When seeking the wisdom and clarity of your own mind, silence is a helpful tool. [...]

5. Cooperation

[...] We must live and work together as brothers or perish together as fools.

In eigener Sache:
